Just saw some of these, thought I'd have a go at it. Looks fun. My first crack at it.
Team Leader: Harry Dresden - from Jim Butcher's book series "The Dresden Files"
All around great guy for the apocalypse, Harry is an asset in almost every way. Wisdom, power, and experience.
Brawler: Doug Glatt - from the movie "Goon"
He can dish it out and take it while keeping a positive disposition no matter how bad things get. There is no quit in Doug. An all around good guy to hang around.
Weapons Expert: Whistler - from the "Blade" movies
Tough as nails and dedicated, Whistler wages war on the undead primarily by supplying the tools. He may be old as dirt but you don't get to be an old warrior by sucking at your job. Keep the blades sharp, the ammo flowing, and the inventions lethal.
Brains: Dr Nicholas Rush - from Stargate Universe
Always more than a few steps ahead of everyone else when it comes to thinking, this grouchy genius would come in handy while navigating the lost technical mysteries of the zombie infested world. Working with Whistler, Rush could make so many useful ideas a reality. Plus he always thinks about the big picture and the long game.
Medic: Dr Joan Watson - from "Elementary"
Brilliant surgeon + detective sidekick + budding combatant + patient attitude when it comes to difficult companions = How could you not want Joan Watson by your side and taking care of your injuries? Harry Dresden and the rest of the team would rely on her on a daily basis.
Speed Fighter: Snake Eyes - from "G.I. JOE"
Come on. A freaking ninja. If you've seen him in action you know how perfect he is for this role.
Mascot: Hooch - from "Turner and Hooch"
Such a good doggy. Yes you are. Now go chew down a tree for us, we need the lumber.
Guy Who Dies First: Freddy - from "Scooby Doo"
For however long he survives, this zombie bait supernatural investigator could do useful things like... drive the team around in the Mystery Machine.
